OUR FLEET

BREB's fleet consists primarily of multipurpose vessels designed for breakbulk, bulk and project cargo operations. The company operates both owned and chartered vessels with deadweight capacities ranging from approximately 3,000 to 9,000 tonnes.

The vessels carry a wide range of cargoes, including general cargo, dry bulk, steel, forest products, offshore components, project cargo and containers. Particular emphasis is placed on versatile, geared multipurpose vessels, whose onboard cranes enable largely independent cargo handling, even at ports with limited infrastructure.

BREB's trading area covers European waters, including North Africa, and extends to West Africa. Alongside conventional liner services, project cargo shipments and chartering activities form a central part of the company's shipping operations.

BREB CUXHAVEN, BREB COURAGEOUS,
BREB COURTESY, BREB COUNTESS

The C-class vessels form the backbone of BREB's two liner services to North Africa: the BREB Continental Line and the BREB Adriatic Parcel Service.

With a sawn timber cargo capacity exceeding 10,000 m³ and MacGregor deck cranes equipped with Peiner grabs, these vessels are particularly well suited to handling bulk and neo-bulk cargoes.

BREB CAPRIS, BREB CAPELLA

As gearless sister vessels, BREB CAPRIS and BREB CAPELLA complement the C-class fleet, expanding BREB's capacity for conventional shipping and project cargo operations.

Designed as conventional mini bulk carriers, both vessels are particularly well suited to bulk and breakbulk cargoes. They support a wide range of industries by transporting raw materials as well as finished and semi-finished products.

BREB TIMBER, BREB TRADER

The T-type vessels BREB TIMBER and BREB TRADER serve the port of Hull on the Humber estuary in northern England, carrying sawn timber from Cuxhaven, Varberg in Sweden and Riga in Latvia.

Their cargo profile also includes other forest products, such as pulp, as well as steel and components for wind turbine construction. These shipments complement the vessels' operations between North Sea and Baltic ports, with onward connections throughout Europe.

BREB BOTHNIA, BREB BALTIA,
BREB BLOEM, BREB BEAU

The B-class vessels are built to the proven GROOT ECO FREIGHTER 5200XL design, combining advanced shipbuilding technology with high standards of environmental performance.

Their low fuel consumption makes them particularly well suited to longer European shipping routes.

With exceptionally high cargo hold capacity, all four vessels are ideally suited to neo-bulk cargoes. Two grain bulkheads provide flexibility for carrying a wide range of dry bulk commodities, while the tweendeck arrangement and generous hold height make them equally suitable for project cargo.
